Earlier this month, Kadeco, along with KCAP, participated in MIPIM 2023 in Cannes and PTE 2023 in Amsterdam, where Pálmi Freyr Randversson, managing director at Kadeco, and Anouck Kuitenbrouwer from KCAP presented K64, the Keflavík airport area masterplan.
Kadeco represented one of four Icelandic development projects that participated with Business Iceland in MIPIM 2023, the world’s largest annual real estate investment conference and exhibition.
Passenger Terminal Expo is the world’s largest annual airport design exhibition and conference. At PTE 2023 in Amsterdam, Pálmi Freyr Randversson, managing director at Kadeco, and Anouck Kuitenbrouwer from KCAP presented the new Keflavík airport area masterplan, K64, a comprehensive case study of an innovative approach to area development. In their presentation they discussed how the new masterplan demonstrates how integrated economic and spatial planning at and around airports can pave the way for long-term sustainable development, while also acting as a catalyst for innovation in the regional economy and helping overcome obstacles to successful planning.
